'Points for People' is a unique platform of Tata Trusts that will enable an individual to contribute to the development of a healthy society. It will also enable an individual to donate funds towards the growth of communities supported by Tata Trusts.
At the outset, the communities that will benefit through Points for People will be tribal individuals and tribal women-led groups in the states of Jharkhand, Orissa, Gujarat and Maharashtra. 'Points for People' strives to bring tribal households in these areas irreversibly out of poverty through increased life choices.

CINI - The Central India Initiative is the outcome of a quest to find a comprehensive response to issues of tribal development in the central Indian tribal belt. CInI was established by the Trusts to facilitate and advance this mission. Not withstanding the rich vegetation and good rainfall in the tribal dominated blocks of Central India, the communities live in poverty and often face acute food insecurity.
